Membership and costs

Membership is open to anyone - whether you are an experienced quilter or have never used a needle in your life!

From 2026, membership to Studley Quilters will cost just £17.50 for the year, the subscriptions being collected annually in December/January.

The charge for members is £2 cash (plus 42p if paying by a single bank transfer) for each meeting attended which includes tea, coffee and biscuits; all we ask is that you bring your own mug.

Non-members are always welcome at our meetings; there is a charge of £4 cash for each meeting you attend.

So what are the benefits of membership?

  • Monthly meeting fees are £2, half the non-member rate

  • Discounted fees for all our workshops

  • We also offer our workshops to members first - if all places are filled the workshop would not be offered to non-members

  • Regular newsletter, generally one a month, to keep you up to date.  This can be especially helpful if you are unable to attend a meeting

  • Help and support with your quilting projects from experienced and knowledgeable quilters

  • Opportunities to network with other quilt groups in the area - many of our members belong to multiple groups

  • 'What's On' information from around the region

  • Access to The Quilter magazine produced four times a year by The Quilters Guild

  • Access to 'Elevenses' magazine, the Region 11 newsletter covering Hereford, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands
